We’re opening for the ATO Records based, The Whigs (The Whigs are from Athens, Ga. and have been touring the world consistently since 2005. They have released three studio albums and have toured the world with acts such as Kings of Leon, The Black Keys and Drive By Truckers). Also playing, Company of Thieves.

We have a couple shows lined up this weekend in Greensboro… and we would love for you to come on out!
First up is tomorrow night, 3/5 at The Green Bean. We’ll be sharing the bill with Katharine Whalen and her Fascinators (yep, that Katharine Whalen of The Squirrel Nut Zippers fame!) Show starts at 8, with a suggested $5 donation .
Our second show is at Green Street as part of the Often Awesome, ALS fundraiser for Tim LaFollete. This event is going to be amazing. Tickets cost $10.

‘Wake Up’ – a 5 track EP recorded in August 2010 will be released in October, 2010 . This sublimely sonic collection of songs was recorded by Ashley Powell of Greensboro, NC and mastered by Kitchen Mastering, 189 Brewer Lane, Carrboro, NC.
Next weekend is gonna be a goodie. We’re playing with the Greensboro heavy-weights, Come Hell or High Water at CFBG’s on the 8th (show starts at 10).
On Sunday Lake Isle will be hitting the Cave in Chapel Hill. We will be playing alongside the Austin based band The Sour Notes (this band is completely fantastic.)
